Today, CNC machines and 3D printers make it possible to manufacture a wide range of products, even in the craft sector.
The Digital.Werk Campus was a workshop aimed at local craftspeople and other interested parties who already use or plan to use such machines. The hands-on event covered “digital product development”, “digital manufacturing” and “industrial and collaborative robotics” using example projects.
The use of industrial and collaborative robots has a wide range of applications. Robots can be used not only as production machines, but also as a third hand or in logistics. The previously complex control of such machines is also simplified for new users thanks to innovative interfaces.
